Feminists are upset about WHAT?

     Fact is stranger than fiction. Always has been. When it comes to opinions and actions, people can get really, really weird and get upset over the most bizarre stuff. Progressives are even stranger and more weird, especially the militant feminist.

    Case in point is the outrage by feminists at Kermit the Frog. Yes, the Muppet. Turns out that feminists are upset at this fictional fuzzy puppet like character because his new "girlfriend" is a younger and thinner fictional fuzzy puppet like pig.... Yeah, you read that right. Miss, or is it Ms Piggy has been traded in for a newer and sleeker model and the radical NOW types are fit to be tied.

      Now, I guess this was to be expected by people who spend fleeting seconds each day in reality, but seriously, this is just plain odd even by the typical progressive standards of bizarre behavior. We're talking about puppets for crying out loud!

     Amazing, huh? The very people who call opening a door for a woman a "micro aggression" yet ignore the  macro misogynistic actions of Islamic extremists towards women are now upset about the love life of a fictional frog on the television. You just can't make this stuff up folks, you just can't make this stuff up.

     The internet is a wonderful place. On the web you can find incredible information and resources. Entire libraries are located and catelogued online and you can educate yourself on a myriad of topics. However, along with all the wonderful and interesting stuff, there is also a dance floor for unicorns and the progressives who waltz with them.

     The internet meme is one of the tunes that progressives enjoy waltzing to. Usually, they are simple little songs with little depth and not very well thought out; these are progressives after all. Surface emotions, something that sounds good with a beat that is easy to dance to, is all that's required.

     After I saw one of these memes proudly displayed on Facebook, it occurred to me that a new feature to this blog dedicated to illustrate the absurdity of the simple progressive mind, would be Stupid Meme of the Day. Sadly, I really don't have that much time to blog, so I thought a weekly feature would be more in line, So without further delay, I present to you the very first Stupid Meme of the Week!

     Where, oh where to begin..... First off, the person who put this simple little one chord tune together is attempting to equate Bernie the Red with Jesus. Uh, no. Not even close. Secondly, the composer is stating that Jesus of Nazareth is a socialist just like Bernie. Hold it right there, Chachi. Jesus advocated many things in the way of charity, but sadly for government worshiping progs, Jesus never advocated having resources taken by a governing body to be distributed to the poor. As a matter of fact Jesus never once advocated for a governmental solution for a single societal problem. Yes, Jesus advocates caring for the poor and yes Jesus advocates for the sick, but it is to be an act of charity. Charity comes from the heart and is freely and willingly given. It cannot be coerced because then it is no longer charity.

     In Luke chapter 10, verses 30-37 you will find the parable of the Good Samaritan. The Samaritan man paid for the care of the beaten man. The Samaritan used his own donkey to transport the man, he used his own wine and oil to clean the man's wounds and he left his own money at the inn for the man's care when he left him there even promising to make up the difference when he came back. Not once did he go to the Romans and demand that they take from his neighbors in order to pay for the man's care.

     Jesus was, and is, about changing hearts. Making new creations who see the poor and those in need and want to help; giving comfort to the afflicted. Bernie Sanders is a state socialist who sees government as the great distributor of good. It doesn't work and it never will. It is wasteful and inefficient, it will create more corruption and it will cause bitterness, more envy and greed for the unearned.

     Congratulations Chachi! Your ignorant piece of leftist propaganda is the very first Stupid Meme of the Week.

   

You Might Be a Prog

If you believe that the death of a lion in Africa is a travesty, but harvesting of human organs from the unborn is no big deal, you might be a "Progressive".

If you equate the extraction of an unborn child that poses no physical threat or health risk to it's mother, with "Women's Health", you might be a "Progressive".

If you believe that people can choose their gender; a social construct, but others are born homosexuals, you might be a "Progressive".

     Insanity seems to be the "new normal" in America. As the "progressive" agenda marches forward, society goes ever further into the bizarre world of make believe. From time to time I will use these pages to document the American left's suspension of reality and our society's continued spiral down into the realm of madness.

     This is serious stuff, but that won't stop me from having some fun with it. Humor and sarcasm have always been a coping mechanism for me. Sit back, get some popcorn and marvel.
